Jack Hammer asked:

I am going March 17th - 21st and staying at the MGM. What are things I need to see while out there, things for free would be best or things with a small fee. I know about all the shows just looking for other must see things for cheap so I can lose more money at the casinos. How about the best bets for a cheap beer at a bar or case of beer from a liqour store to drink at the hotel. What about the best deals for buffets, just on a budget, thats all, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Go to a sex club bar and pick up a nice girl or if you can’t just get a hooker.

I found a guide that saved me at least $150 on my last trip. It wasn’t free but more than worth the $9 price tag from Amazon. . It had tons of tips for Vegas and over 140 pages of coupons.

Also spend some time enjoying the Vegas free attractions
Remember to see the Bellagio fountains and Fremont street at night.
    Have fun

if you’re gonna be sitting at the tables or slots you get free drinks, just make sure you tip the cocktail waitress a few dollars.

don’t do the cheap buffets, blech! they are awful! the good ones cost around $25 for dinner.

if you want to lose your money, but slowly, play ‘let it ride’. it’s the only table game i usually play. and you have a decent chance of actually winning a little something.

there’s all the regular free stuff, lions at mgm, tigers at the mirage, bellagio fountains, you can see the canal in the venetian, planet hollywood has rain storms inside the miracle mile shops (i think they still have it, i know it was there when it was the aladdin) there’s the outdoor volcano at the mirage, the pirate show at treasure island. bring comfy walking shoes, by the way.

From the info I have gathered for my Vegas trip in April there is cheap beer to be found just down the street from the MGM @ O’Shea’s and Bills Casinos. The beer at these places (if your not gambling) costs anywhere between $1.50 to $2.00.

You will be staying on th strip, where food prices are through the roof these days. I mean $6.00 for a hot dog. As long as you are gambling you drink for free. However waitresses are sometimes hard to come by, so when one does come buy give a nice tip, and she will remember you and come more frequently. You can spend a couple hours at one nickle slot with just $20.00.
I would suggest one or two dinner meals Downtown, where it is cheaper. you can look up restuarants on line before you go and they do put prices online. Plan ahead get 2 for 1 coupons onlie before you go. Also on the strip ther is a place called tickets for tonight. They have show tickets up yo half off, day of show. they are a clearing house, the theatres give them tickets in the morning because they want the show sold out, so they change every day. have fun
